Whitworth considers for admission students who demonstrate strong academic promise and an ability to succeed in a rigorous academic environment. We admit students who have demonstrated their ability to achieve academic success, based on previous scholastic achievement, measured aptitude, recommendations and other personal attributes.

High School GPA (Middle 50%): 3.36 - 3.94

SAT Math + Critical Reading (Middle 50%): 990 - 1210

Although no minimums are required, PLU encourages students with a 3.00+ GPA and/or 1000 SAT (critical reading and math) to apply.  Academic rigor is evaluated by an applicant’s course selection.  Applicants must present evidence of scholastic ability and demonstrate qualities of good character in order to be accepted for admission.

In reviewing applications, we do review an entire file, taking into account academic record, references, essay, and extra curricular activities. NU is committed to seeing students succeed academically and offers tutoring services to assist students in need as much as possible.
